Residential Community
Living at Bodhisattva Centre offers Kadampa practitioners all levels of NKT study programmes and a surprisingly peaceful and quiet haven for meditation and retreat in the city. Our Kadampa spiritual community is a modern day example of how putting Buddha’s teachings into practice creates a peaceful and harmonious environment that is a pleasure for all who visit.
Bodhisattva Centre is a residential community of people of all ages and all walks of life. The Centre offers a friendly environment in which to further your experience of the Buddhist way of life. All residents contribute to the life of the community through their voluntary work. This includes cooking, cleaning, gardening, organising meditation courses, and running the shop and cafes. Residents also work in the cafe, art room, and offices supporting the many activities on site.
All three study programmes are available, General Programme, Foundation Programme and Teacher Training Programme, and many other courses are taught throughout the year.
Becoming a resident at Bodhisattva Centre is a special way to contribute to the flourishing of Kadam Dharma and an opportunity to begin or deepen our experience of a spiritual life.
