The Building and the Grounds
Bodhisattva Centre began in 1992 as a branch of Madhyamaka Centre in Yorkshire. From a small terraced house in Vernon Terrace, we soon moved to the historic St. Anne's Convent, where an on-going restoration project is taking place.
The Peace Garden was started with grant funding in 1999, transforming an abandoned peice of wasteland into an attractive ornamental garden for the whole community. The Peace Garden also has a nature conservation area, with a pond.
